Fruit to use
That is the beauty of a fruit salad, you can choose to use a combination of your favorite fruits like watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, strawberries, pineapples, mandarin oranges, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, kiwi, seedless grapes, and pomegranate arils. And you do not need them all – select ones you have on hand or the ones on sale at the local supermarket.

Dressing
- ½ cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons honey

- Clean the fruits and pat dry to remove any excess moisture. 8 cups fresh fruit of your choice
- Once cleaned you will dice up the fruit into bite-sized pieces. Add all the fruit to a large bowl and allow to cool in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Place the lime juice, honey and lime zest in a small bowl and whisk until well combined. (For the best flavor, I recommend using fresh lime juice over bottled juice for the dressing.)
- Pour the dressing over the fruit and gently stir until coated.
- Garnish with optional toppings if using.toasted almonds,fresh mint,coconut
- Salad can be served immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to get to know each other.
How to Store Leftover Fruit Salad
This salad is best eaten the day it’s made but will keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in an airtight container. The fruit starts to break down and can get a little mushy the longer it’s stored. Be sure to toss the salad before serving to redistribute the dressing.
