Chlorella algae are packed full of chlorophyll, containing more than any other plant species. First and foremost, you need to make sure you buy pure, high-quality spirulina and chlorella, as sub-standard products may contain toxins from their natural environment. It’s also important for people with auto-immune diseases to be careful with algae, as it can have stimulating effects on immunity.
