In which case, it’s easy to understand the hype surrounding cannabis for exercise and sports training. If CBD does indeed interact with the body at such a profound level, it’s perfectly possible that it could ease soreness, relax muscles and boost endurance. Purely theoretical properties at this time, which have nonetheless attracted the attention of the global sports community.
What Does Science Say?
For the time being, the science surrounding the potential therapeutic applications for CBD is sketchy at best. There’s no evidence to counter the claims of those using CBD for exercise and sports training, but nor is there any concrete evidence to support them, either.
The anecdotal evidence supporting CBD as a recovery tool and stress reliever is borderline overwhelming. Nevertheless, we’ve not yet reached a stage where any CBD product manufacturers are (legally) able to make such claims for their products. Ultimately, it’s down to the customer to see what works for them.
Still, studies continue to draw interesting links between CBD and the potential alleviation of various ailments. All of which continues to attract the attention of fitness fans and sportspersons worldwide, for whom CBD seems to have become a near irresistible product to try out.
