Philadelphia health coach holds “virtual dinner party” teaching women across the world a new way to lose weight

Jessica Procini—a standup comedian turned certified holistic weight loss coach and founder of the web TV series called J-ciniTV—is the brains behind a revolutionary and highly effective way to lose weight that has nothing to do with counting calories or killing yourself at the gym. It’s called Laughing Yourself Skinny. Inspired by her own weight loss, body image, and exercise addiction struggles, Procini teaches women lasting weight loss strategies and how to have fun with the process.

“The key ingredient to lasting weight loss is fun. Without it everyone falls off the wagon and losing weight becomes stressful. And when the body is under stress, it creates a chemical cocktail in the body of cortisol and insulin, which signals the body to hold onto weight. In order to lose weight, you must relax and the key to doing that is having fun with the process,” says Procini.

The Philadelphia health and weight loss coach is bringing her teachings to a worldwide audience on February 5th at 7:00 pm EST by what she’s calling a “virtual dinner party” where she’ll be teaching hundreds of people “How To Lose 10 Pounds & Laugh Themselves Skinny.”

“The weight loss process can be such a drag. Then trying to listen to a boring lecture about it is even worse. I wanted to give my audience a fun experience and change their approach to losing weight. They’ll be more likely to remember what you teach when they have fun and you make them laugh,” she says.

Procini claims that her virtual dinner party is like having a dinner date with her, but over the internet thanks to a free video platform called Spreecast.

“Just as many women do when they get together, we’ll talk about weight loss, food, your body, working, and I’ll give it to you straight about what you need (and don’t need) to slim down for good. No diets, no gimmicks, no cleanses, no forcing down wheatgrass. And how to have a freakin’ blast in the process,” she says.

Procini developed her core teachings and coaching programs from her training at the Institute For Integrative Nutrition, The Institute For The Psychology Of Eating, and her certification in the Transformational Coaching Method.

“But the best training (which can’t spit out a certificate) is my life,” Procini says. “I walk my talk. I don’t recommend my clients do anything I haven’t done already. Every day of my life is an experiment, a research project, and a continued discovery of self-development and growth.”

Not only does she have clients in her local hometown of Philadelphia but she also has dozens of international clients—all of which she coaches over the phone or Skype.

“You would think that women in Australia, Switzerland, and England would have different issues when it comes to trying to lose weight because our cultures are different. But the only difference is our time zones. Their stories and struggles are exactly the same as the woman next door.”

Women who coach with Procini lose anywhere from 5 to 25 pounds in 90 days and keep it off.
